Mrs. Louise Cooper Tenpenny, 84, of Murfreesboro died October 25, 2012. She was the daughter of the late Jim and Aileen Cooper of Bradyville. She was born in Cannon County, TN on October 9, 1928. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Lucille Butner, daughters-in-law, Pat Reed and Judy Reed and former husbands, J. T. Reed and Shelah "Dude" Young. She is survived by her husband, Nile Tenpenny of Murfreesboro, daughter, Patricia (Andy) Bryson of Woodbury; two sons, Donnie Reed of Murfreesboro and Kenneth (Mary) Reed of Readyville; one sister, Joyce Ann (Lucian) Hayes of Smyrna; granddaughter, Lee Michelle (Leland Hayes) Reed; grandson, Scot (Shannon) Reed; two great granddaughters, Emily Reed and Lilly Hayes; step-children, Jenny Crouch, Patricia Tenpenny, Lee (Marilyn) Tenpenny; step-grandson, Elliot Tenpenny and step-granddaughter, Emma Rae Tenpenny all of Murfreesboro. Mrs. Tenpenny was a member of the Curlee Church of Christ. She was a former employee of Colonial Shirt Factory and Cummings Sign. She retired from Singer Inc. of Murfreesboro. Visitation will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Saturday, October 27, 2012 from 1-5 PM. Graveside services will be held Sunday, October 28, 2012 at 1 PM in Riverside Garden. Tim Gentry will officiate. Pallbearers will be Scot Reed, Andy Bryson, Hayden Bryson, Robert Sain, Steve Smith and Tracey Stoetzel.
