Stella Bogle

Mrs. Stella Bogle, 88, of Woodbury died November 5, 2012 at her home. She was born June 8, 1924 in Cannon County, TN. Her parents were the late Joe Young and Margaret (Todd) Young. She was preceded in death by her son, David Bogle, husband of 67 years, Silas Houston "Son" Bogle, brothers, Mack Young and Marion Young, sisters, Martha Rogers, Willie Pearl Gannon and Lizzie Hudson. She is survived by two brothers, Nile & Della Young and Virgil & Grace Young both of Woodbury; a sister, Mary Brown Hale of Dearborn, Michigan; loving niece, Elizabeth Simpson of Bradyville; nephews, Euel Bogle of Murfreesboro; special caregivers, Rita Bailey, Wilma Hart and Bebe Adams. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She was a retired employee of Mayes Hosiery Mill in Nashville. She was a loving wife, mother and homemaker. Visitation will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 from 3-8 PM. Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at 11 AM in the Smith Funeral Home chapel. Al Bugg, Jr. will officiate. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Smith Grove Church of Christ Building Fund by contacting Smith Funeral Home.
