Jerry Stephen Blair

Mr. Jerry Stephen Blair, 50, of Cannon County died January 4, 2013. He was born in Warren County, TN on January 13, 1962. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sarah Jane Miller. He is survived by his father, Carlton Blair and his mother, Virginia Ruth (Prater) Blair both of Cannon County; a brother, Bobby Carlton Blair of Nashville; a nephew, Jeremy & Stephanie Miller of McMinnville; great niece and nephew, Allie & Keaton Miller; special friends Scott & Jennifer Deese and Larry & Kay Gannon. Mr. Blair was a member of the Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Woodbury Central High School. Following graduation he worked for Deese Electric trimming trees for 14 years. He loved being outdoors. Going hunting and fishing with his friends was one of his favorite things to do. He was known to be easy going, able to get along with anyone. He was a patient person and willing to give you the shirt off his back. Visitation will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Sunday, January 6, 2013 from 2-6 PM. Funeral services will be Monday, January 7, 2013 in the Smith Funeral Home chapel at 2 PM. Interment will be in Center Hill Cemetery. Smith Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
