Charles "Pat" McBroom

Mr. Charles T. "Pat" McBroom, age 89 of Oneida, passed away Monday afternoon, May 13, 2013 at the Oneida Nursing & Rehab Center in Oneida, TN. He was born on October 24, 1923 in Woodbury, TN to the late Glenn and Mary Louise Kittrell McBroom. Pat was a member of the First Baptist Church in Oneida, TN. He was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first Wife: Reba Robbins McBroom; second Wife: Betty Cecil McBroom; Son: Michael Robbins McBroom; 1 Brother and 2 Sisters. He is survived by 1 Daughter: Sharon Louise McBroom of Nashville, TN; 1 Son: Charles Thomas McBroom, Jr., and wife Debbie of Oneida, TN; 3 Step-daughters: Brenda Allen of Winfield, TN, Lou Ann Smith and husband Denny of Oneida, TN, Stephanie Brooks and husband Tony of Knoxville, TN; 10 Grandchildren, and 7 Great Grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends for visitation in the Chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home in Oneida, TN on Thursday Evening, May 16, 2013 from 5:00 PM until time for funeral services at 7:00 PM Eastern Time with Rev. Philip Kazee officiating. Music will be provided by the First Baptist Church Choir of Oneida, TN. The family will receive friends for visitation at the Smith Funeral Home in Woodbury, TN on Friday afternoon, May 17, 2013 from1:00 - 2:00 PM Central Time. Burial will follow in the Riverside Cemetery in Woodbury, TN. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Smith Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
