Mrs. Wanda Lee Brown, 75, of Auburntown died at her home on July 27, 2013. She was born on August 11, 1937 in McMinnville, TN. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ila (Campbell) Todd, husband of 58 years, Truman Brown, a daughter, Ila Kay Rhoden and two brothers, Donald Bratcher and Jerry Bratcher. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Cheyrel & Doug Pursell of Auburntown; son-in-law, Joe Rhoden of Lascassas; brothers, J.M. & Jonell Bratcher of Short Mountain and Barton & Phyllis Todd of McMinnville; three grandchildren, Leslie Pursell of Woodland, Robert & Jessica Rhoden of Lascassas, Jacob & Annette Pursell of Spring Hill also two great grandchildren, Katlyn White and Annalee Pursell. Mrs. Brown was a member of the Auburntown Church of Christ. She was a retired employee of Chromalox in Murfreesboro. Reading was one of her favorite pass times. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Spending time with her family was one of her greatest joys. Mrs. Brown had a sweet disposition and never met a stranger. Visitation will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Sunday, July 28, 2013 from 11-8 PM. Funeral services will be held in the Smith Funeral Home chapel on Monday, July 29, 2013 at 2 PM. David Dunn and John Fortner will officiate. Interment will be in Milton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations are requested to the Auburntown Church of Christ.
