Billie Grizzle, 75, of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away April 24, 2014. A native of Liberty, TN, she was the daughter of the late Shelia H. and Vernie Hale Parker. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Jean Richardson; two brothers, Shelia Jr. and Jackie Parker; and brothers-in-law, Albert, Clifton and Hoyte Grizzle and Clifton Ferrell. Mrs. Grizzle is survived by her husband Glenn Grizzle of Murfreesboro; son, Scotty (Sarah) Grizzle of Woodbury; daughter, Glenna Davis of Nashville; brother, James (Catherine) Parker of Woodbury; sister, Jessie Mae Parker Ferrell of Woodbury; sister, Elizabeth Parker (David) Burnette of Readyville; brother, John (Edna) Parker of Liberty; Joyce Parker (Jim) Speakman of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Hunter, Dallas, Slade and Sadey Grizzle and Parker Davis; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Grizzle was a devoted, loving and caring; daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and individual. She loved to sing with her beautiful voice. She enjoyed nature and animals. Her favorite time was spent at home with family and friends. She was a member of the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. She retired from the Alvin C. York V.A. Medical Center. A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, May 17, 2014, 2:00 PM at the Hale Cemetery in the Pea Ridge Community. Bro. Leonard Herman will officiate.
