Harold Foster

  Mr. Harold Foster, 75, of Woodbury died May 27, 2014. He was born in Cannon County, Tennessee on February 4, 1939. His parents were the late Robert Orville Foster and Inice Sissom Foster. He was also preceded in death by his two wives, Jessie Mae Miller Foster and Jewel Garner Foster and two brothers, Larry Foster and Troy Foster. He is survived by his son, Royce Avon Foster of Woodbury, four brothers, Gear Foster of Texas, Nile Foster of Woodbury, Leon Foster of Michigan and Ronnie (Faye) Foster of Woodbury, a step-daughter, Brenda (Dale) Buck of Silver Point also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Foster grew up in a large family with all his brothers. He was raised on a farm. He learned how to work mules, plant a garden and harvest crops. He was a quiet man and led a simple life. Graveside services will be conducted by Smith Funeral Home at Gilley Hill Cemetery on Friday, May 30, 2014 at 4:30 PM. Tim Gentry will officiate.
