Mr. Barrett was an easy going person. If you were his friend he would take up for you. He was a hard working man that liked farming, logging, welding and driving a dozer. He was known to be able to work on all types of heavy equipment. He taught his son how to drive a dozer before he was old enough to drive on the road. When he ran into a problem he could study on it a while and figure it out. He also enjoyed going fishing and target shooting with his friends. He loved to have a good meal with family and spend time with them. They were by his side all the way to the end. Visitation with the family will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 from 4-8 PM.
