Allan R Williams

Mr. Allan R. Williams, 58, of Woodbury and formerly of Nashville passed away on November 19, 2015. He was born on July 24, 1957 in Carrollton, Georgia. His parents were the late Harold Caswell Williams and Evelyn Dacy (Sprewell) Williams. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Brenda (Oakley) Williams. He is survived by his daughter, Ginger Williams of Nashville; sister, Paula (Sam) Larkin of Woodbury; two grandchildren, Keith and Nataleigh and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Williams was a long time employee of Proctor and Gamble in Jackson, TN. He also worked as a truck driver for Swift and as a security officer. He liked collecting baseball cards and watching Titan’s football games. He was a generous person who would give you the shirt off his back. He was always a hard worker, until his health deteriorated. He loved to visit with his grandchildren. He was a member of the Fatherland Baptist Church in Madison, TN and recently a faithful attendee of the Grace Assembly of God Church in Woodbury.Visitation will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Sunday, November 22, 2015 from 2-4 pm. Memorial services will follow in the Smith Funeral Home chapel. Marty Cooper will officiate.
