Mrs. Kathy L. Jacobs, 64, of Bradyville passed away on April 25, 2016. She was born in Terre Haute, Indiana on December 22, 1951. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Burton Earl and Betty Maxine Butland Earl. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Vicky Bunch and a step-granddaughter, April Jacobs. She is survived by her husband Shoffner Jacobs of Bradyville; daughters, Christie (Steve) Rayens of KY and Jenifer (Eddie) Pye of Murfreesboro; sisters, Betty (Dan) Stroup of Gastonia, NC, and Charlene (Paul) Furtado of Port St. Lucie, FL; step-sons, Ronnie (Janie) Jacobs of Bradyville, Michael Jacobs of Shelbyville, Jamie (Melody) Jacobs of Carthage and Brian (Jeanie) Jacobs of Lewisburg; a step-daughter, Rebecca (Billy) Hudson of Murfreesboro; three grandchildren and five step-grandchildren and 1 step-great grandchild. Mrs. Kathy was born in Indiana. A short time later her family moved to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. She spent many years in Florida before coming to Tennessee. She worked for several years at Kathy’s Restaurant in Woodbury. She and her husband enjoyed traveling together. Going to flea markets to find bargains. She liked to work in her flower garden and cook for her family. The family will receive friends at Smith Funeral Home on Thursday, April 28, 2016 beginning at 3 pm.
