Mr. Hubert C. Alexander, 71, of Milton died from injuries he received in a car crash on April 15, 2017. He was born in Woodbury, TN on June 13, 1945. His parents were the late Comer Alexander and Josie Jean Bryson Alexander. He was also preceded in death by other siblings. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Davis Alexander; a son, Jason & Alaina Alexander of Bradyville; step-daughters, Peggy Jean Peoples of Carthage, and Christine Smith of Red Boiling Springs; a brother, J. C. Alexander of Murfreesboro; sisters, Joyce Taylor of Murfreesboro, and Clara Mae Boyd of Lascassas; and by grandchildren, Carly Alexander, Addison Alexander, Isabelle Alexander, DJ Peoples, Shelby Peoples, Brandon Peoples, and Austin Slagle. Mr. Alexander grew up knowing how to work hard. He worked many years for Bradley’s Paving before his health forced him to retire. He was a good-hearted guy, loved by those who knew him. Spending time with his grandchildren, family, and friends was his favorite thing to do. Visitation will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 from 3-7 pm. Funeral services will be on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at 11 am in the Smith Funeral Home chapel. Close family friend and neighbor, Darrell Whaley will officiate. Interment will be in Riverside Garden.
