Dora Brown Johnson

Mrs. Dora Brown Johnson was born on September 28, 1926 in Woodbury, TN. She lived over 65 years in Memphis, TN. She was the daughter of George Brown and Willie D. Alexander Brown. She departed this life on November 16, 2017 in Nashville, TN with family at her side at the age of 91. Many thanks to the staff and everyone at Cumberland Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. She was preceded in death by her father, George Brown; mother, Willie D. Brown, sisters, Lorell Brandon, Betty McBroom, Mary Brown, and Margaret Dillard; and a brother, George Brown, Jr. She leaves to cherish her memory sister, Katherine Ezell of Nashville; brother, Charles E. Brown of Readyville, Thomas Brown of Nashville; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Many of those friends in Memphis, TN. Visitation with the family will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Saturday, November 18, 2017 from 11-11:30am. Funeral services will follow at 11:30 in the Smith Funeral Home chapel. Interment will be in Hoover Cemetery.
