Mr. Jason Lee Hodge, 39, of Woodbury passed away on May 14, 2020. He was born on October 8, 1980 in Houston, Texas. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rebecca Sue Shepherd Hodge, grandfathers, JT Hodge and JD Lee, grandmother, Nancy Shepherd, and uncle Roy Hodge.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Sue Markum Hodge, sons, Dalton and Cameron, daughter, Jolene, father, Troy Dale Hodge of Kentucky, sisters, Elizabeth Hodge of McMinnville and Angela Hodge of Murfreesboro, nieces, Brianna, Julianne, and Chelsey, nephew, Sawyer, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Isaac and Peggy Markum of Woodbury, brother-in-law, Isaac Markum, Jr., and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Jason worked as a roofer and home builder. He liked to work with his hands. When he wasn’t working, he liked listening to music and joking around with family and friends. He loved being outdoors, hunting deer and turkey, and going fishing. He and Peggy Sue loved camping at Normandy Lake and Floating Mills. It was like their second home being at the campground. He was a Southern Baptist.
Visitation will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Monday, May 25, 2020 from 2-4 pm. A memorial service will follow at 4 pm in the Smith Funeral Home chapel.
